Installation Guide

  1. Download the full client above and extract it to a folder of your choice (avoid Program Files to prevent permission issues).
  2. Run Gunz.exe inside the extracted folder.
  3. Create an account if you haven't already — registration here on the website works immediately in-game.
  4. Log in with your website username and password, pick a character, and press Play.
  5. If Windows SmartScreen warns about an unrecognized publisher, choose "More info" → "Run anyway".

Repair Guide

If the game won't launch, crashes on startup, or files were deleted or modified by mistake, the Launcher can fix this without a full reinstall:

  1. Open the Launcher.
  2. Click Repair. It checks every local game file against the latest version and re-downloads only the ones that are missing, corrupted, or out of date.
  3. Wait for the repair to finish, then click Play.
  4. If the problem persists after a repair, delete the client folder entirely and reinstall using the Full Client above.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the Full Client if I already have the Launcher?
No — the Launcher downloads the rest of the game files itself on first run. Use the Full Client only if you'd rather download everything as one package upfront, or if the Launcher can't reach the patch server.
The Launcher says an update is required before I can play.
Click Update and let it finish — the Launcher won't let you play with out-of-date game files, since that can cause you to disconnect from the server or see incorrect content.
Windows says the app is from an unknown publisher.
This is expected for a community-run project without a paid code-signing certificate. Choose "More info" → "Run anyway" in the SmartScreen prompt.
